Default No audio?

Please Login to Remove!

I have been having an intermittent audio problem with my 8100. Frequently, but not always, incoming and outbound calls have no audio ( I cant hear them, but they can hear me) It is not limited to the speaker on the phone. It has the same result when using the speaker phone option as well as bluetooth devices. It does it when using bluetooth as well as not using bluetooth. Any suggestions?

What about when you play music? I lost all sound on mine after 2 months, sent it back and got a new one. Apparently this is a fairly common issue with the Pearl.

The issue is not a delay in audio, it is that there is no audio. I already have the current software version. I did a search and did not find anything on is actual problem,,,, but thanks anyway. Can anyone give me any real advice?

well if you tried wiping and reinstalling the OS, the issue has to be hardware related and not fixable by you. hope you have warranty if thats the case.

i think i have the same problem...

1 out of about every 10 calls (inbound or outbound) i get a call that when as soon as i answer it i cant hear anything, i have to hang up and call them back, and when i do the other person tells me that they could hear me but i couldnt hear them. I noticed that a couple of my friends have the same problem and they're with t-mobile like me.

I had similar problems. After researching it a bit, I updated to a newer 3G SIM. If you have an older sim from a previous phone that could be the issue.

I just got the new SIM in yesterday but haven't had a single problem yet. Before I was having problems every few calls where the person on the other end couldn't hear me, but I heard them perfectly. Hopefully my problem is solved.
