Call Cingular support, or go back to your local store. They can do something on their end to make sure that the system realizes you have swapped phones. It sounds like there is at least one part of your service that still thinks you have the other phone. (my guess, anyway)
I had to swap out phones for a similar problem, they did all the switches in the store and made sure everything was working right off the bat. I had to resend the service books, but after the rep made sure he did whatever he has to do to reassign the service to my phone. Its not as easy as "just" swapping SIM cards with the Blackberries for some reason.
