Please Login to Remove!

ok this is a horrible setup with tmo/bb i jus cancelled data plan 2 days ago.. lost phone and jus got a new one.... sooo it was w/o data plan ... tried to mms text... no such option anywhere... figured after reading all the posts about mms and data plans... i decided to turn on the data plan and send service books... and tomorrow i will cancel the data plan again to see if this mms option will stay.. oh yea once i turned data plan on the mms option magically deliciously appeared... sooo ill report back tomorrow after i cancel data plan once again if the mms option stays or will vanish.... cross your fingures all that dont have/want/cant get data plan..............

I'm a little "boggled" here.
Not trying to be rude or anything.
You're upset because you can't send "data" without having the "data" plan?
I mean, I know we could say "technically" texts are data as well but they are classified differently.

If you just want to text, why not use the "sms" text? you don't need data plan for that.

I'm just a little confused. Honestly not trying to start anything.

Ok this is the breakdown as stated previously:

MMS will NOT work without a data plan. Blackberry model is just locked that way.

BB data plan does NOT include MSS messages. Sometimes they include a text messaging package, but will not include MMS.

I have the data plan for $19.99 AND have unlimited text/mss for another $14.99 (but for family plan $19.99 gets your entire family unlimited text/mms good deal). That appears to be the only way to solve the problem. Don't think you're going to get out of buying the data plan if you want mms, sorry. =\
