I had the DST applied on my phone and then upgraded to the TIM .71 OS. It let me down real bad this morning as it was an hour behind and I was late for work. When I checked date/time in options, it showed teh correct time for phone and network, but home screen didnt reflect and alarm didnt work. Weird, anyone have this issue?

Is your Time Zone correct? Have you tried rebooting the device? If you ahve already done all that go to Options > DST 2007 Patch. What is the status? If it says anything other than Patch Successfull Applied you have a problem.

How did your BlackBerry let you down today when DST changed last Monday? Was the time correct last week but not now?

I have contacted by BES admin regarding this issue. I may have to try this solution. I will update this post if I try it.

Thanks, I read through that and according to what is posted there, its most likely because I swithced to my 8800this weekend and then switched back to the Pearl this morning. However, since the 8800 is patched from factory, I am not sure the switch caused the issue. I reinstalled the patch and it seems to be OK now, have to see when I switch back on Friday.

I am not going to mess about with my BES admin. Being a junior employee, per new guidelines, I am not even supposed to have a BB. I was grandfathered in and I am going to keep a good thing going while I can!

MY BES admins were agaisnt doing what was suggested in teh thread linked above. They advised that I just change my time zon unril the original DST date in April comes along. That is what I am doing for now.

I had the same problem. Timezone right, phone time right and pulling from network. I went into the time settings and when I update the time, it was 1 hour back. I updated the phone with an hour later and now things are stamped right.

Thanks Congress for all this. Maybe they'll change it again in a few years again just to keep us on our toes.

I take that back. Emails are ok, but my appointments are still wrong.

And now that I have done all this, I'm happy!
