Problem dialing numbers with letters I upgraded to the latest OS last week, and there seems to be a bug with dialing numbers with letters in it. Yesterday, I tried to call 1800-USBANKS to get my account balance, and here's the numbers I pressed: 1800 (duh) And, while holding alt: 3 (to get U) ? (Twice, to get to S) 8 (B) ? (A) 8 (Twice, to get N) 6 (Twice, to get K) ? (Twice, to get S) The resulting number: 1800UUSBBANNKS It seems to be duplicating letters for some reason, and I have no reason why. Am I doing something wrong (this is how I've always done it I think) or is it a bug with the new OS? Thanks |
I just tried it... I can also do the multi-tap when holding down the alt key, and I don't get any dupes. Hmmmmmm. |
it happens to me....It adds the duplicate even after you've moved on to the next letter. A similar problem has been reported with MultiTap in general. I'm sure it's related. Still, strange. |
