Unhappy Is This a Common Bug with the Pearl?

Please Login to Remove!

I'm using the T-Mobile software .64, and whenever I start up my calendar, it keeps starting on the wrong day. I have it set to start up in agenda mode and to go directly to "today," but instead, it jumps to the first day of a repeating event.

To explain it better, I have a repeating event for one of my Co-Workers who's traveling to Canada for business. He's been there since the 4th of April, so when I start my agenda, it jumps right to the 4th instead of the current date.

Is there a fix for this, or do I have to just wait for the next T-Mobile update?

(I'm using PocketMac to synch, and I know it's not a PocketMac issue because it didn't do it with the 4.2.1 software from TIM. I recently reverted back because I was having a lot of dropped call issues with the TIM release.)

Try the Cingular .71 version. It's a very stable OS--probably the least buggy of all the OS's for the Pearl.

Will this have any effect on my phone, even though it's not an official T-Mobile release? I've experienced some problems in the past using non T-Mobile releases and my MyFavs settings, most notably with custom ringtones becoming thrown out of whack and unfixable.
