Default Module error?....first time bb user

Please Login to Remove!

On Saturday I upgraded to a blackberry pearl (total first time PDA user) and today installed the desktop manager. I opened up the application loader, and did not upload anything nor delete any application files. Now I cannot access certain files like pictures or the help icon, I keep getting this error message:

Erro Starting.
net_rim_bb_help:module 'net_rim_ecmascript' not found.

I've also recieved this error too:

Uncaught exception: application registry wait for cOxac3ae76427d17 timeout.

I looked through the FAQ's and hardware forum, but I wasn't able to find anything remotely similar to my problem. I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Thanks!

Heavy, oftentimes, a simple reboot of the BB , by pulling the battery and holding for 30 seconds, will clear up errors such as that.

I tried that, after it loads up, thats when the "Uncaught exception: application registry wait for cOxac3ae76427d17 timeout." error happens. I hit ok, and everything works ok, except for the help, videos, and music/ringtones..
I click on help and get
Error Starting.

ok, good.

Do you have the latest version of Desktop Manager, ver 4.2 Service pack 1, loaded on your PC? Not a bad idea to reload those modules from Application Loader.

First you need to have the exact same OS downloaded to your PC, expand the *.exe file. Open DM, click App Loader, you may need to click on ADD.

If I have all this correct from memory--you should see a list of Apps on your phone and you can click to add one of the box is not checked.

The other advice would be to do a full back up of the BB. Download your OS as above, from RIM or from your Carrier site.
