When I purchased my phone I always had the idea of playing music in the back of my mind. I finally went ahead and started looking into it. The headphones that came with the phone were uncomfortable so I decided to use my own, but as you are already aware of the pearl has no 3.5mm jack, only a 2.5mm. When I went into my local The Source (RadioShack) to pick up an adapter, they said it would not work with the phone. They also said the headphones have to be from Blackberry, or designed specifically for a Blackberry device? So how can I use my regular headphones with my Pearl. Also I wanted to ask if anyone has tried the HS-655 headset for music?

Jabra also makes some headsets that work. I beleive they just have to have the 4 seperate parts on the plug that goes into your phone. If you look at a picture of the seidio adapters they have 3 small black rings around the plug seperating the different connection points.

I just ordered a pair of Jabra C220s off of Ebay today. I was having trouble deciding between those and the C120s. I hope I like em' and I hope this helps.

So do the Jabra C220s work without the adapter? or will i need the 3.5 to 2.5 adapter?? (i just ordered a pair too...)

On Jabra's web site it says they come with an adapter. So that's what I'm hoping for.

sweet....can't wait to try them out...those OEM BB headphones aren't all that comfortable...lol
