Hi everyone, sorry if I'm asking questions that have been asked a million times already but I'm a new Pearl owner and I've got a few questions that I can't find answers for....

1. Can I turn off the receiving of emails for a certain period? I know I can change profiles to "Phone Only" but its still downloading emails just not notifying me, is that correct?

2. From the main menu can you create folders or something to better organize the absolute crappy mess of having everything thrown in there at once? Yes I've hidden all the useless stuff but I'd like a little more order in my life ;)

3. Can you have the screen/backlight come on or at least the brighter trackball light when you get a new message? The LED indicator isn't doing it for me when I get an SMS.

I think that's it for now... appreciate your help

Hey

Welcome

1. Yes, but you'd have to log onto your service provider's website for blackberry. If you're on Tmobile its on Mytmobile.com. If you're on any other carrier, have no idea.
You're then going to have to delete the email from your settings.

2. No, wait for the 8300, 83xx.

3. no. But there is a program called Blackberry Alerts that blinks different colors for SMS/Email/Voice etc.
