got the desktop and firm installed how do I update it from application loader?

Did you delete the vendor.xml file if you are upgrading from a different carrier?

Download Desktop Manager
Install Desktop Manager
Download firm
Execute firm
Locate and delete VENDOR.XML from the PC C: drive.

Restart Desktop Manager and the firm should load.

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader
