I got the 543 error... so I used javaloader to wipe the bb clean then got a 507 error.

Next I reloaded the TIM firmware and it all works now.

I lost all my 3rd party apps... I did the restore from the backup file before doing this update. While backing up I saw it saying it was backing up 3rd party applications.

Also my zen theme kind of changed when you hit the button to see all your applications left of the track ball its all in icons now instead of a whitebackground with a list of the applications with icon and text.

any ideas?

The Zen theme has been modified in the new OS, there is another thread around that tells you how to get the old Zen back on there. You'll have to search for it though, can't find it again...

The backup in DM doesn't backup applications. Sorry to say it sounds like you will have to download them again. If you go to kradest.com there are some instructions on how he found to backup 3rd party apps.
