Default Time zone changes when I synch

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all
Anyone ever seen this problem? Whenever I synch my 8100 to my PC, the time zone changes on the phone. The pc's time zone is correct-Eastern Time Zone.
After the synch, I just change the time zone on the phone back, but it is annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Rich

Do you have the DST 2007 patch installed on your Blackberry?
Not sure if it makes all that much of a difference in your case.. but it couldn't hurt to install it if you don't have it.

I assume the time comes from the network, I havn't touched it other than changing it back after the synch...

Make sure in Outlook that you have the correct time zone applied to your Calendar.

Click Tools, Options, Calendar Options (on the Preferences tab), Time Zone, and then set your current time zone.

This is a long shot but still a possibility that Outlook is setup on a different time zone than your BB and that b/c of this discrepancy it is forcing your BB to change due to the PIM settings through Desktop Manager.

I would ensure the phone is set to sync with the network for it's date / time and that Outlook and Windows are in the correct time zone.
