I've downloaded and installed the OperaMini browser from operamini.com

The version I downloaded was 3.1 and was the default download when I went to operamini.com from my bbpearl.

However, whenever I try to run it I have to go through "network setup". I click ok, and it goes through 11 steps on its own (and sometimes asks me "do you want this device to search for a network, blah blah" which I always say yes). After the 11th step it tells me connection setup failed and to go to operamini.com/help for troubleshooting. I haven't found anything helpful there.

I don't even know why it needs the connection setup, since I'm already connected via the built in browser and I have a data plan through T-mobile.

Any idea what the connection problem is? I'm getting 4 bars of service right now.

I had the same problem, you have to ask your provider for the IP gateway and then set it into your bb, you should ask for the APN (Accesss Point Name)

Just go here for your carrier APN...

i already try to change the APN also but it did not work for 8100,but for 8700 it work....

i already put apn for my pearl but it also did not work,but for 8700 it work

Hey if you have t-mobile goto options then goto advance options the goto TCP and type in wap.voicestream.com for your APN then it will work.
