I've been reading for weeks that Verizon and Sprint are supposed to get CDMA pearl devices. My question since it is a CDMA version as opposed to GSM, is it just a matter of RIM swaping radios and the OS will be as stable as the updated GSM ones or do they have to reconfigure the OS to work with CDMA thus making the first release buggy until they get it right? I have a 8703e right now, and may sell my treo 700w and Motorola Q to pruchase a pearl if they release it on VZW but am curious if I shoudl wait about 6 months so that they get all the bugs out the way before buying.
