Smile Couple of quick questions...

Please Login to Remove!

I got my Pearl about a month ago for Cingular. It's about the most awesome thing I've ever owned. Love it. Anyway, just a couple of things real quick.

As far as 3rd party apps, I've got Opera Mini, Google Maps, Dope Wars and 5uk0ku Mobile.

Is there a way to select Opera Mini to the list of browsers under settings? It still only lets me pick between Internet Browser and MediaNet Browser.

Is there a way to turn off Auto Dim without the new OS?

Is there a way to move applications to the Applications folder? Or does everything installed have to stay on the main screen?

When you go the the email folder and choose to send an email, is there a way at the To: line to insert an address from the address book? If I pick Attach Address it pastes it in the body.

And I think that's all I got for right now. Thanks!

Edit: One more, I've got unlimited data with 1000 texts on here. Does using email to send things back and forth use the data? Or use up a message? My wife has a Sync with unlmited data and 1000 texts and on Cingular's webpage it says that her sending emails through the Mobile eMail thing uses the 1000 messages quota. Just making sure I'm only using data when I send emails.

The answer is no to everything except the last question. Just start typing a name in the to field and if they are in the address book they will come up automatically.

Edit to add: email uses data, sms and some chat programs use text.
