Default Rogers vs. Telus & Bell

Please Login to Remove!

Now that I have decided to take a data plan, I've noticed Rogers sucks. It seems that Telus and Bell have the better plans (both similar to the other) but Rogers is far behind:

Do you think if I called Rogers they would be able to match the offers of Telus and/or Bell, any suggestions?

Rogers is definitely screwing us on data plans. But don't really have much of a choice as they are the only GSM providers here.

I'm on Rogers and although i'm not a fan of these crazy prices there isn't much I can do about it. I used to be on Telus but I didn't like the fact that I had to choose only from the phones they offered. So I switched!

If you're already on Rogers and are towards the end of your contract you can talk to retentions and see if they can work something out for you. But in terms of new customers I don't really think they'll do much to accomodate you.

Damm, yes I would be a new customer (other than 3 months of prepaid lol). I guess I'll see what I can do; I am a long time subcriber of their internet service, I'll just say something along the lines of: "I'll go with Bell, and switch my internet over as well to bundle all my services". (I would never go with Sympatico though :D)
