Still learning how to use desktop manager for my pearl.
Can anyoine tell me how to enable mass storage so I can at least drag music files to my device. When I connect the usb and go to my computer / devices with removable storage I'm always asked to insert a disk into the drive. I'm guessing enabling mass storage would be the answer to my problem.

Did you try the icon that says media manager in the desktop manager software?

I dont know about you guys but if i enable mass storage and try to transfer music or movies i cant i have to have mass storage off. Anyone else have to do this???

I also get a message that some files will not play with mass on, so I have it turned off. But, I still can't play anything at all no matter what I try. Can you help me?

I see the file, but can't play it. It is on the media card, but can only be viewed through "explore media card" and not "open media card." There is no option to "play" in explore and when I try to use "open," it reads "unable to display file." What am I doing wrong?

When I connect my BB, the phone asks if you want to turn on Mass Storage. I don't use the DM, I just open the phone and just drag the files I want onto the media card. Right now I have about 4 venture bros. episodes and a chapelle show. I also have some songs on there. So far no problems just when videos play it takes awhile to stop or pause.

when you are transfering the songs are they mp3 format??? that is the only way you can listen to them. i had the same problem when i first got my pearl, hope this helps
