Is there an easy way to switch between the email and SMS inboxes? Yes, I can press the app-key, choose View Folder and scroll down to the SMS inbox but that is very cumbersome. Surely there must be an easier way? Coming from a SE W810i I find the Pearl quite difficult to work with.
If you have the new TIM then you're set. Open up the catchall Messages folder, hit menu, and select Options. Under General Options there's a setting on whether or not to have joint or separate folders for SMS/MMS and email. If you separate then just hide the catchall folder and you're set. They'll always be in different places then you just have to click on the folder you want from the home screen.

While in the messages view, hold down the ALT button and press the '?' key. It will filter to just show SMS's. Try holding down ALT and pressing other keys for more filters.
