Question Speakerphone ?

Please Login to Remove!
Whenever I put my Pearl on speaker phone it takes itself off speaker phone after I disconnect the call. Does anyone know if there's a way to keep the speaker phone on consistently, so that you don't have to turn it on every time you answer/dial a call? Thanks!

No, I don't think so. Just curious, why would you want it on all the time?

Well I wouldn't want it on all the time but sometimes when I'm driving I like to have the speaker phone on, so that when I make calls and receive calls while I'm driving it's easier, you know? Just for those times that it's easier to have it on, I hate having to re put it on all the time.

fyi...I think it's the O/P button that is the shortcut to turn speaker phone on while in a call. Simply answer the phone, and then hit that key to put it on speaker.

yes, it is the O/P button. Just one more button to press after you accept the call.

I am not a big fan of bluetooth headsets because they all seem to be uncomfortable with glasses. Yes I have tried several brands...just not comfortable for me.

I like the supplied earpiece much better. You can use the voice dial with it just like the bluetooth. It is light and does not have to hang on my ear. I guess I am just not cool enough to put up with the discomfort of bluetooth ear pieces.

Back to the subject. I wish I could keep my speaker set on too. I wish I had the option of automatic answer after one ring and answer with the speaker on. Never have to touch the phone to answer and NO BLUETOOTH required.
