Please Login to Remove!

Hey, maybe you guys could help me out I went to bed last night and the battery was 1/4 full, I woke up and found that my BB wont turn on. I did a battery pull thinking that would help, but i still got nothing. Its been charging now for at least 2 hours. I'm running the latest OS from Cingular. i don't get it, this is the first problem I've had since i got my pearl in December.

Try pulling the battery again for 30 seconds.

Then hold down the red phone button until something happens.

If still nothing you might have to use jl_cmder to wipe and reload OS.

However, before you wipe your BB call Cingular and see what they have to say.

Take it to a local Cingular shop. They will have another battery available to test your phone. That will likely be the easiest solution. =)

I remember a while back that there was a thread about the phone dying due to a discharged battery and then it taking a long time to turn back on. The OP said that he had to charge it to a certain level before it turned back on. I think he ended up getting a new phone or a new battery. But i think he tried a new battery first. My recommendation is to take it back to Cingular and getting your battery and phone tested.
