Default Cellsite info

Please Login to Remove!

I need a patch or application to see the cell site info.

I had an nokia that would tell you what site you were on and give signal strength etc.

The status screen only gives signal strength.

Yay Nokia netmonitor! I have this on my 6230b and the 'leaked' app (OperatorFtdwk39v7) for my 6682, and it's the best thing since sliced bread when you wanna get super nerdy. The Moto eng. mode is not as good, but still quite useful when you're in a so-so area like SF and want to scan the towers around you. I also like that you can force it to scan 1900 before 850 when you live in a 1900-only area.

Do they have any plans of every making a midlet/etc. for the BB devices like this, or is RIM's stance "no, never, thanks for asking"?
