Many of the files I already have on my pc are wma downloaded form Bear Share for free. The only problem is that there is some sort of encoding or encryption that doesn't allow you to convert or burn without paying. In my case I would only want to convert to a usable format so I can ditch CDRs completely. I downloaded a free version of a program called Switch by a company called Swift Sound Software last night. I already new about the Bear Share pay stuff but hoped the conversion would take care of everything. The master plan is to buy a car stereo that has a USB port so I can play tunes in my car. The other drivers on the road will be much safer once I don't need to dig into a cd case anymore Any thoughts?

The WMA files have Digital Rights Management (DRM) applied. You will need mp3 conversion software that handles this. I use WMAConvert.
