OK. I got my Pearl on Friday and set up my POP3 (Comcast) and my @tmo.blackberry.net accounts. I am having trouble w/ my OWA. When I try to set up the account I use the following:

email address & password
Outlook web address - https://www.comanyname.com/owa
(yes - it's a secure server)
user name - domainname\user name
Email account name - I've tried both the domain\user name and just the user name, neither works. I've also tried to check the name on the OWA site (as recommended on the RIM website) and that doesn't work on our server.

Interestingly enough, I have similar issues w/ EMOZE and my PDA.

Is there something my IT guy (small company) has to do on the server that maybe he doesn't know? Does POP have to be enabled for BIS to access OWA?

I looked into this further, we are using the latest version of OWA (Outlook Web Access version: 8.0.685.24) does BIS support it?

You have to have your OWA admin set you up as a Blackberry user even if you are not using BES. I had the same login issues and once my account was granted Blackberry access everything worked fine.

I only use BIS.

That's a good point. I have no issues using OWA. But I spoken with some email admins and they stated they can block BB devices from using OWA.

Thanks, now what should I tell them to do? Grant access to the BB or do they add the BB under my profile/settings

New Information - BIS does not support MS Exchange 2007. So I'm stuck w/ desktop redirector or forwarding.
