While I'm in a call, if I open the notes screen, how can I go back and view those notes?

I can go back to the call log and see the notes icon next to the call but when I hit menu it only gives the option to edit the notes. Is this the only way to go back and view the notes?

Figured it out now...

I got the "call log" and the last 20 call history mixed up. When I activated call log in the message inbox, all I had to do was click on the entry with the trackball as Picasosz said. I guess there's no way to view notes if you don't have the call log activated though.
