I just want to delete my address book and contact is there a simple way I looked but could not find a good answer

If you do a "security wipe" it will erase all personal data, but not the programs or OS. To do that, go into Options / Advanced / Security / General Security. Press the Menu key and select "Wipe Handheld". THat will erase Contacts, Notes, Tasks and Calendar...

I am preparing to sell my 8700c and I want to be sure none of my personal data goes with it. I do not, however, want to wipe out any of the applications, including ones I've added like Google Earth. When I go to the Security Options and select "Wipe Handheld" it tells me I'm going to lose applications too. Does anyone have any advice for me on how I can clean the device but not lose any functionality for the new user? Thx.
