I am a new 8100 user upgraded from a 7105T. I have noticed that when I receive calls that there is a 1-3 second delay before people can hear me.

Has anyone else noticed this and is it some type of feature, is it a bug? Any info would be greatly appreciated as I have until today to return it if there is a problem.

It is a known issue. I've heard people say it isn't an issue in the latest operating system(s), though.

So there is an OS upgrade then? I haven't looked.

Well, maybe not for your carrier. You can use any one you want, but if your carrier finds out it might void your warranty. I beleive the newest OS out is from TIM in Italy. 4.2.1 something.

I looked into the OS version and my 8100 has the latest version from T-Mobile (4.2.0.64).

I guess I will call them and see if there is anything else.

If anyone else has any info I would appreciate you posting.
