Default E-mail and SMS

I have an 8100 through T-mob.

I set up a pop email account via t-mob to get push mail.

I have two icons of interest: 1) "Messages" 2) My email account. The email icon only included my email from that email account. The Messages icon has my text messages AND my emails.

I want my Messages icon to only show me my text messages and my email icon to only show me my emails.

How do you set that up?

I tried searching the forums, but good luck with the keywords "email" and "text"!!!

What theme are you using? It should out text and email in the messages folder... BUT some are theme dependent...

What version OS do you have? I think that the only way to do this is on the new TIM Italy release of the OS... but I'm not quite sure. I swear I read somewhere that it is possible to do this but I did a quick search and came up empty handed.

You are correct... I assumed the OP was using the new OS.... As staed above you WILL need the Itialy OS to do this...

Download the link provided and install it on the PC... Then delete the vendor.xml file from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader

Then open Desktop Manager and run Application loader...

It will see the new OS and inatall it... You will then be able to seperate the sms and email folders

Nope..... It has new features... I have been running it since the day it was released with NO issues at all...

So far...

Updated, and I do have separate SMS and email folders.

Opera didn't work initially, but had to re-enter wap.voice....

- email not working. (I re-sent service books, but have no indication that phone got them...strange)

- Lost t-zones and BB internet icons!

- Icons not in old list style, but rather all visible on desktop like other BB themes, even though still on tmob zen theme.

Update...

Service books finally sent (slow due to BB outage?).

BB browser and t-zones back.

email working.

Menu still the same (obviously)
