OK. I really f'd up my Pearl.

I was having problems with it resetting frequently and would just freeze many times while I was using it. So, I did a wipe using jl_cmder and now I cannot even restore my backup file.

Is there anything I can do????

You reloaded your OS and you still aren't able to connect it to your computer? Did you do a complete whipe of it and reload the OS, and if so what version?

SO i was doing a reload of the OS and at the end of it said cant restore device please try later to restore.

I have a error upon boot up a icon with a circle through it and a number under it 507 and just stays there

I know this isn't gonna make any sense but when desktop manger doesn't detect your device, while your blackberry is still plugged in, pull the battery out, then on the desktop manger go to options >> Connection settings>> make sure the first drop down box says none, if it doesn't change it>> hit detect.It should say make sure your device is connected properly, then hit ok and then you should get usb pin found:
take a look at the bottom of the desktop manager it should say connected, if it doesn't you can still try this process while the battery is back in and the phone is done hourglassing.

Hey i hope you worked it out with your phone
but recently i had to downgrade from TIM os to .73


Now i couldn't get it to downgrade for anything
So i resorted to wiping the device
but I didn't realize that as I was wiping the device i had desktop manager still open. I then started to panick b/c it D/M wouldn't read the phone. Did a little research found that you are not supposed to have D/M open when wiping the phone for some reason.

SO.

I deleted D/M from the comp and installed a new one
Deleted all Blackberry files from the comp and installed .73
Modified the alx files

made sure all the closed and wiped the phone again.


Openeded up DM said a couple prayers and connected the phone
low and behold the phone was again updating.

I was almost at a point to call Tmobile and use up my upgrade that i've been saving 2 years for.
