Hi guys. Just Easter weekend I upgraded to the TIM release and had no issues. I want to check out the latetst Cingular version so I downloaded it and installed it, deleted the vendor.xml file and plugged in my BB and it synced as usual. I was expecting it to prompt me to install new OS and I got nothing. What is going wrong? Any advice?

Open Desktop Manager and look in Help / About Desktop Manager.
Click on the Device Software tab.

Do you show the TIM software installed on the PC?

there is a way to downgrade. i personally think the new os is good with telestra fix.

Try using applicaiton loader within desktop manager.

All I want to do is install the .88 Cingular version. I had no problems when upgrading to the TIM release. Do I need to uninstall the TIM release from my PC? If so, how?

I clicked on the .exe install file and it gave me the option to repair, reinstall or remove all. I selected remove all and then reinstalled the bb OS.
