Exclamation Which OS do you prefer?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all,
I tried a couple OS installs, like .64 and .71 and the new TIM Italy release, and so far, I like the Cingular .71 release since it seems to have less bugs than all of the others, especially TIM Italy. Which do you use and prefer? Anybody want to lobby for thier preference?

How does that work?

I was using the TIM release for a couple weeks, at first eveything worked fine I loved it. Then just recently my outgoing calls was getting weird, I would hear popping sounds and garbled voices. The phone says connected but the person on the other line didn't hear me. To fix it I had to do battery pull, it came to a point where i had to do 2 or 3 batt pulls a day. SO then I tried to downgrade but it wouldn't so then I had to wipe the handheld which always gets me paranoid then I installed Cingulars .73 8100red.

So what is this Tim / telestra system?

I have seen something about using the TIM and Telestra together to make a more stable OS. I did a search to try to find it and couldn't. I guess I've had a couple of the problems but I like the improvement to SureType in the TIM release and a couple of other things like the ability to separate SMS and email in all themes and being able to turn off automatic backlight.

What are the benefits to the Telestra fix?

Default TIM, it is

TIM release since it came out day one, never had one issue with it, I have read the TIM 4.2.1.66 thread and some have faced problems.
