Default Looking for a review of the Vaja Balance for the Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

Are there any early adopters of the Vaja Balance case that could provide a review? I'm familiar with Vaja's iPod products and their excellent build quality. What I'm most interested in is the degree to which the case adds volume (or bulk) to the phone.

Thanks in advance.

I ordered one and should have it within the next week or two. I'll be happy to post pics and a review when it arrives. Keep in mind that I ordered one in all black, so pics might not be as detailed as a lighter-colored one might be.

All black is exactly the way I'd go myself. If you don't mind, a picture of your new case, sitting next to the Pearl, comparing their height (or thickness) would be very helpful.

Looks like it will add between 1/4 to 1/3 in thickness on all 3 dimensions from what I see. It would be hard to do less than that with leather.

Thumbs up

I received mine today, also in all black. I do have a couple of things to add to the above review. For one thing, they also put in a tiny, translucent "window" in the upper right face so that your notification LED works fine through the case. The rear panel of the case has a plastic shield over the camera area with a hole directly over the lens. The apertures for the cable ports and headset all line up perfectly.

Also, since I have a Seidio 1250mah battery and replacement battery cover, my phone is slightly thicker. While this makes it impossible to use the standard rubberized skin from Seidio, it doesn't affect the Vaja case which is able to accommodate the slightly thicker phone.

It feels good in the hand, fits in the pocket easily, and doesn't stick to the cloth in your pocket. The one I purchased has no belt clip or attachment for one on the back.

That is so cool! I can't wait to see what that blue case looks like! That blue color was one of my contenders.. The rio red did win in the end, but I really like that blue. Is your BB black?

I just got my case a few hours ago... it is definitely worth the wait. Love the color too.

I'll post all kinds of pictures later today when I get home
