Wirelessly posted (8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

No way, you cannot sync email and messages back to your Outlook over BIS. To do so you will have to have BB Enterprise Service.

Not a sync option but you can always select leave messages on server in Outlook

E-Mails are forwarded (not synced) to a BlackBerry. It is not ActiveSync. Messages are forwarded, and then reconciled (if you have BES) to accomodate read, filed and deleted messages.

Wink

well , I was thinking of a simple solution. the downloaded emails from the server that actually exists onto your local outlook account should be synch. in the same way the contacts are.
simple and handy, would also make sense in reading = sending emails to your customers.
sometimes, when my outlook is on(laptop), and my bberry is off(during the night) I do receive the mails only on the local outlook 2007(laptop). early in the morning I do not have time to read them all so I would love to read them on my bberry while I am being driven to the office.
See, simple local synchrony.

thanks anyway for your help.

Wow, I couldn't disagree more. The software for BB has always been solid as can be--and being a 4-year user of BBs, the reason I've always stuck with BBs (or come back to them) is that the software sync is seamless with Outlook. I don't do corporate email, though, which is why I don't have issues.

"the software sync is seamless with Outlook"

correct.

but we were talking about new facilities, new improvements for the software, not just the synch.

cheers.
