Default Motorola HS810 (Help)

Please Login to Remove!

I had my Pearl replaced due to a unresponsive trackball and now I'm not able to use my Motorola HS810 for voice dialing. I use to be able to press the button on the headset and it would automatically go to voice dialing and now all it does is dial the last number in my call log. I can use the handset and click on the voice dialing icon and it works fine but I'm unable to use the headset. Am I missing a setting I've tried everything from reconnecting the device 3 times to changing all the settings one by one to doing a hard reset.

Any help would be appreciated.

With your Headset connected to your phone, press the Left Convenience button to activate Voice Dialing. After that, pressing the button on your headset should start the Voice Dialing application.

Should dlpisgreat recommendation not work I would recommend deleting the BT Headset from your BB, hard battery pull/restart, and repair the device if you are wanting to enable this feature native to the headset.

Anybody know if this feature can be activated with an HS850? I can initiate and terminate calls from the headset, but I can't do voice dial. I've changed my PTT button to be the Voice Dial button on the handset, but it would be nice to activate it from the headset.

It appears that the HS850 does support VAD; follow the attached link to the PDF manual on this headset from Motorola (see page 26).

Default *Exact* same issue with an HS820

Has anyone really solved this problem? Neither of the methods listed worked for me.

It's making me homicidal.
