just about to get a new bb pearl but wanted to know which color to get. im leaning towards the white one just cause im a mac guy and i think its more mac like. and the white pearl with the iphone theme looks great.

what do you think?

Sounds like you should get the White. Its going to be your phone. Pick the one that grooves ya.

do you like the white one or do u think it looks like a chick phone? if i got the white one i would get the blackberry BLACK skin case for it.

Normally I think the white pearl is more girly (probably because the only time I saw one it belonged to a woman) HOWEVER, if I had a Mac I'd go with the white - I love when things go together and the white with white will be nice!

I bet the white doesn't fingerprint as badly as the black too -- just a guess I don't really know for sure.

i had a mac... but i would be using that black apple iphone theme so i think it would look better... going for the white one with the black skin.

If you got some of those jewel looking "bling" things to add to it, yeah I'd say it looked pretty Chicky. Otherwise, no, it would just look like an iPod or Mac accessory to me.

My brother and I picked up our Pearls on the same day and he opted for the White while I got the Black. The Black looks smaller than the White when their side by side - however I know they are exactly the same.

It's simply a personal choice. I liked the Black better and since I'll have it for the next 2 years (Cingular Contract) I picked the one I liked most.

I agree with Latufu... get the one you like. You're the one that's going to use it.

Now.. personally, I'd only get the black. I don't like the look of the white one. Mind you, I've only seen pics of it. Funny though... I don't think i'd get a black iPod... I have a white one. Maybe i'm just use to the "black"berry .

The pearl is a nice berry... no mater what color you pick.

I just got the black. I like the white very well and would probably get the white if I could do it over again. The black shows alot of fingerprints. I just applied the bestskinsever so that should help.

The white one is supreme!! I have a white phone with a black holster. It's not girly.

yeah i got the white one in the black silicon blackberry skin with the iphone theme. you cant beat it it looks unreal.

I had to settle for white since I took my black one apart, tried to get it back together, and screwed up. I took it back to the store and told them I wanted the white since everyone has black, and had to pay $.01 for the exchange. I miss black though =(

Agree but personally I like the traditional black theme (not big into either the red or white).

Like others have said here, it's a personal preference. Speaking for myself, I went with the black Pearl because it looked sleeker than the white one. (I guess black really is a slimming color. :P) The white one looks great in pictures--shiny and pretty like an iPod. Up-close, though...it just looked tacky to me. :( Sorry if I've offended any white Pearl owners by saying that, but that's how I feel. And the red one...don't get me started on that. I would've loved a red Pearl minus that awful white racing stripe going down the middle of the keypad. Yick. x_x

I went with black. But the organization I work for mandates black or dark blue cell phones. I don't think I'd buy a white one, just because marks would show up much easier.

I originally bought the red one. I was informed it was actually called "cranberry". But, I then exchanged it for the black one because I can't accessorize the "cranberry" with a green gel case (unless it is Christmas time). The black one is easier to accessorize.
But maybe that is not your issue.

I have the black one myself, but when I got it that was the only color avail.
But it is what ever color floats yout boat, since you will be using.
And as you said you can always get different color skins.
