hey guys i just got my pearl as a graduation gift and im new to all this blackberry stuff. well anyways i was on this site and was lookign for cool stuff to put on my pearl. i found the app where u can change the color of your trackball. i downloaded it onto my comp and then tried to put it on my pearl(dont ask me how i think i put it on using the apploader). while it was loading onto my pearl i noticed that it said it was deleting files off of the pearl. i thought that this may be normal since i never done this before so i continued. but then when i was using it i noticed that the browser app is gone and now i cant view my photos and listen to my music.

does anyone know how maybe i can reset my pearl so ill have all the origanl apps. and then maybe put all my stuff back onto it that i will lose by reseting it.

Have your provider resend the service books, or just reinstall the OS.

Searching would bring you many results as your question has been answered many times. That's probably why nobody has answered. Here's what to do:

1. Download and install the latest Desktop Manager from here.

2. Download and install to your PC the OS package that matches what is on your BB. Look in >Options >About for the version number then go to your carrier's website and download the corresponding OS. Links can be found here.

3. Connect your BB and open Desktop Manager.

4. Go to Application Loader. You should see checkboxes for your apps in the OS. Check what you want and uncheck what you don't want. Then finish the installation.
