Default Desktop Manager frozen while updating os

Please Login to Remove!
So I was updating my OS to 4.2.1.102, and the Desktop Manager froze! It made it to the backup of 3rd party apps, and has been stuck for about an hour. I don't want to disconnect it as I'm worried I'll mess up my Pearl, after reading other posts on the forum it seems like it will. This is my first bb so i'm pretty new to them, any advice?

If it's froze then you are pretty much out of luck..... Disconnect it and then you will need to use Jl_Cmder (it's in my signature) to wipe the device.... After that it will boot to a white screen... Plug the BB back in and Run Desktop Manager and install the OS....
