Is it possible to manage my address book using the Desktop Manager software? or do I need to obtain third party software to do it?

Any advice appreciated.

Desktop Manager has the Intellisync program built in. Intellisync lets you sync from a PC based personal information manager, like Outlook or Notes, and updates your PC. Desktop Manager itself does not have the ability to enter contacts, note, tasks and calendar items...

shame, its so much easier than keying the data into the BB. As well I'd like to transfer my address book data to a new laptop. Is anyone aware of third party software that might do it?

Most people use Outlook....

ok, so the answer is to import my outlook address book from my office desktop to my laptop (which is where I want to recreate it) and then sync with the BB. Cool. Thanks for your help man.

I think the only way to manage it is to send it/sync to outlook express or another compatible prog.
