Yes. You'll need a case, a Best Skins Ever or InvisibleShield protector and a BlueTooth headset. AFter that there are desktop stands, Bluetooth keyboards, Extended life batteries.

Check out the Hardware/Accessories forum for more info. Also check out the BBF reviews forum too.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.1.7196/1662; en; U; ssr))

Yes I highly recommend it. Especially if you are like me and could use the BB for work but never liked the size of the other models. Most of my friends that use other BBs or Treos are stunned when they play with my 8100. I highly recommend the leather slipcase. It will allow you to carry it in your pocket. Also a Bluetooth headset

This isn't really an accessory, but just mentioning it so you remember to get one: media card to save stuff too. That tiny little bugger sure does hold a lot!

First thing you should get is the BSE. They will keep your Pearl looking brand new.

So tell me why the "Best skin Ever" for the 8100 is better than a regular screen protector. It doesn't cover the sides and the battery cover/back panel is easily replaced if I mess it up. That leave very little of my 8100 left over to worry about...

Default Microsoft Webmail access without using BES

I just got a hand-me down Pearl. The company I work for has MS Webmail but does not have and has no intention on installing a BES server. Can someone share how to configure the phone to pull my email/Outlook from Webmail and have a snap shot stored on the ? Is there a better 3rd party email app that does this?

Opps forgot to add I want to do a wireless sync

I've never been a big fan of Plantronics or any of the other "off the shelf" brands at Best Buy, Officemax, etc. Poor quality all the way around IMO.

That said, I've been using a Motorola HS 850 for a couple of years now. Its got really good range from the phone and a nice battery life. I can usually count on my headset to outlast my phone. They're pretty cheap now, too. I think I paid $25 w/ shipping on Ebay for it.

There are newer HS models now with better battery life and slimmer profiles, just depends on what you are willing to pay.

I have not used any of the RIM branded headsets, don't know how they compare to the Motorolas.

First "smartphone" I have owned and love it! Best money I ave ever spent on a "cell phone". I have the Bluetooth H670 and sound quality is great though it. Best bet is to get a case and headset, like everyone else said before me.

I found an old unused 1GB mem card at home so thats good i guess :P
Well, i'm a teenager so would it suite my needs? My dad got a Blackberry (not sure what model, but its big and geeky XD) and when it goes on the net it sucks. I mean the pages are SO long and one word is like a line. It barley handles mobile sites.
Is this like that too?
Also, i'm going with cingular so what plan would suite me. I don't talk that much but would like to use the internet, ect without extra charge. If you go to amazon, search "Cingular" click on the 8100 and select plans or whatever, it has your plan options. Would the cheapest one suite my needs?

I will vote to get the Best Skins Ever and Blackberry Skin Case. That way, your phone is fully protected. It will also improve the resell value if you decided to sell it on Ebay.
