We have a coworker on the BES server and also using a Yahoo Email account. Recently his 8100 hasn't been retaining emails from the BES server... only a few will show up on his phone, and text messages will completely disappear a few minutes after receiving them. His Yahoo emails seem to come through fine, and stay on the phone yet it seems like the BES Server email's aren't staying. He did mention that his phone was dropped, but it looks as if no damage has occurred from what I can tell, and its strange that because of a drop this behavior could be occurring... any suggestions?

Try doing a battery pull, plus alt+LGLG and clear the log. Make sure you have enough eternal memory by pressing alt+RACE. Also make sure that there are no programs running in the background and delete any email and mms with large attachments.
