The mms should of went straight to your phone. You do not have to go on online to view it. Try resending the service books from your bb.

This same thing happened to me...On my Razr and my Samsung whatever (lol) the picture messages would come in as text messages. I have had my Blackberry for a few days now and the other day I received a picture message from a friend who has T-Mobile also and it was just a text saying to go to T-Mobile Pictures to view the pic...

Vanessa

P.S. I have a data plan

Thumbs up people!

Hey i really have fun sometimes in this forum cause i work for t-mobile and i see all the same questions when i am at work! In order to recieve any sort of picture message you need to first send a picture msg to yourself from your own phone this will un-lock if you will you abilty to view pics right on the pearl! hope this helps.

Do the pearls come locked or is it within the service?

That is normal for the 8100... by default the phone grabs just the bare message without downloading the picture. Once you are viewing the message that has the attachment.. you simply press the menu key and select "retreive now". If you go into the options from the main screen and then mms you can change it from "automatica retrieval" (home only) to (automatically) and it will receive the message and download it all in one shot. I hope this helps, if I miss understood what you are pointing too... I mean no disrespect by pointing out something I am sure you already know.

Sweet! Trying now..

*EDIT*

Just tried this and then sending one to myself too... still get the MMS arrival with a blank screen (no picture).

It doesn't even tell me to go to t-mobilepictures.com anymore... :(

Yeah dude, I already know everything you pointed out, I was trying to focus on the fact that is has an expiration time. I noticed if I wait one minute after I get the message to retrieve it, then it gives me just a blank screen. Thanks anyway.
