Default Thinking about getting a Pearl, have some questions

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about getting a BB Pearl but i have a couple of questions first.

1. Does Gmail work?
2. I do have the option of pressing the keys once or twice to get a letter instead of using SureType?
3. Is there a separate section for text messages?

thanks.

3. Yes, by changing your theme on the BB to the Zen theme, it has a separate folder for SMS messages.

However, I suggest you give SureType a try. It will frustrate you at first but its easy to pick up. I actually like it better than the old method now. word selection is excellent.

Gmail works great with it. you also have the option of downloading gmail app for mobile if you have an account that you don't want pushing to your phone all the time.
