Question Weird error when saving appointments: Uncaught exception....

Please Login to Remove!

When I enter a new appointment in the calendar (or edit an existing one) I press the BACK button (or whatever its called...the one to the right of the trackball) to SAVE, I click SAVE and it doesnt do anything. Then I click BACK again, SAVE and it says:

Uncaught Exception: net.rim.device.api.system.ObjectGroupreadOnlyExcep tion

And goes back to the previous screen. It saves the appointment, but the error message is annoying.

Any ideas?

You could try removing your calendar entirely and re-loading it, if you are synching with a PC based calendar system. Goto backup/restore, Advanced and clear the Calendar. Click on the Synchronize option and it should re-load the entire calendar from the PC to the BB.

It's only a guess and do not do it if your calendar isn't synched with the Desktop Manager.
