Default Desktop Manager ...Disabled?????

Please Login to Remove!

I have had my Pearl for about 5 days or so and just noticed that it says that my "desktop manager" is disabled. I installed the s/w properly is there something I forgot to do, please help?????

It should just install and work.... When are you getting this error message??

You can try and delete the application in add/remove software in windows and reinstall it.....

I'm sorry to waste your time Lunk. I had not taken care of my "connection settings". WOW, thanks for the input anyway. I will try to keep the stupid questions to a minimum from now on

One more quick question, yes I did search, it's about Word docs. I noticed people talking about different programs to buy to view Word docs. Can I not just move over a doc and view it. There is nothing fancy about it, just a few notes that I use every day, it is only about 2k in size.

You can view word docs, you just can't edit or save them..... Email it to yourself and open it..... If you want to create or edit then you have to pay for the programs that do that, and they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$
