Blackberry Destop Manager Version 4.2.0.10 [Jul 26 2006]
Device Model v4.2.0.73 (Platform 2.2.0.41) for the BlackBerry 8100 Series Wireless
Windows xp sp2

I had all of the above working like a champ. Decided to try a BlueTooth Dongle and it's gone downhill from there.
Have uninstalled the Bluetooth device
Uninstalled all BB software
Re-installed by prescribed instructions.

Crashes during the Intellisync process with this error
DesktopMgr.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x35f76ad2" referenced memory at "0x35f76ad2". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program (which yields the same result as OK)

If I cancel the Intellisync, I can keep the program running but if I use media manager to transfer files, Intellisync fires up again and you have to be pretty quick on the "cancel" button to intercept the crash.

Have you tried deleting the Int. Sync folder out of your user/application data folder after you uninstalled DM? This has worked for me when I got the sync error.
