Was wondering how many beeps before the BB keeps quiet? I sometime ignore messages coming in an notice that after a while, the message keeps coming in but no more beeps.

All your notifications are set in your Profile setting, go to Profiles and click to edit the Active profile, be sure to check both IN HOLSTER and OUT OF HOLSTER for the number of beeps you desire.

Not sure why yours may quit after a while, maybe it ran out of beeps.

Everything goes back to notifications; follow JSanders recommendation.

Not quite what I had in mine with my question. I don't use a holster so the settings is alway out. What I was trying to get at is that my beeps will eventually stop coming even though I'm receiving messages. For example, I would get about 40 messages in the morning at home before I leave work. The phone is sitting next to my bed all night and I would ignore the first 3 or 4 incoming notification beeps. After that, even though more messages are coming in, no more beeps??? I was guessing somehow that the BB knows you have not responded that it was on some energy saving mode of not beeping when it knows you are not reponding to it. True?
