I have read many posts on how to wipe the pearl but I can't find specifis on what's restored from the backup. I have gotten the infamous phantom missed call indicator on my new Cingular pearl after installing BB alerts I've tried all suggested fixes, deleted all messages, did numerous battery pulls. Only thing left is to wipe. Question is what will I loose after I restore from backup as far as settings and outlook sync settings.

Most everything will be restored upon backup, except many third-party applications. Your settings, saved pictures, etc., will be returned to you upon backup.

As a safety measure, before I wipe, I also do a complete sync to Outlook with my address book, calendar, etc., as a secondary backup if needed, since my data IS the most important thing...

Thanks, my major concern was a wipe and restore would somehow change the outlook sync data and wipeout outlook when I did the first sync after restore
