Have had my Pearl for about three months and have five questions that I hope someone cal answer for me:

1) Call Logs - does the Pearl only show the last 20 calls received/made? The Phone List view I am using is "Call Log" but even though the Database Sizes in the Status view shows the Phone Call Logs at 522, only 20 appear. At least on my old Verizon phone, you could see the past 90 calls.

2) Battery Strength - does anyone have an idea as to how much battery power is sued by having IM from Handango up and running as well as Google Maps loaded on the Pearl as it seems like I need to re-charge the battery nightly?

3) Available Space - has anyone heard of the issue with the Pearl of "space leaking" where the phone does not restore the available space even when items are deleted, forcing you to do a hard reboot to restore the available space?

4) Where can I go to see how much space the additional applications are using on the phone?

5) How can I update the Browser to the most recent version?

1 - yes as far as i know.
2 - i dont have actual numbers/statistics if thats what you want. the pearl's battery isnt great to begin with. and when i make calls often from my phone and check email about 10 times a daily with the occasional music and brickbreaker, it gets to <50% by the end of the day, give or take. there's the extended seidio battery you could get.
3 - i heard of memory leak but not this.
4 - i dont know where it is on the phone. i use desktop manager to see how much space is used by each app.
5 - i use opera. sorry if i wasnt much help

1. To view ALL your call log, go to Message folder, click to VIEW FOLDERS, and highlight and open your CALL LOG. You can also delete or clear the whole folder there, which is not a bad idea unless you must retain for them for some reason.
2. Not a bad idea to recharge nightly anyway... I do. I don't know how much battery power is used by those apps, but obviously it uses some.
3. Very common issue with the 8100. Good idea to weekly reboot the device for that very reason. Some users experience the call logs/SMS/etc., being deleted by the device to make room for new emails.
4. Options > Advanced > Applications > Click to view MODULES on the menu, You can look at each module and VIEW PROPERTIES to see the Size.
5. You probably have the most recent version, best to update you OS to the latest version.
