Default Globe icon with a 1 next to it...

Please Login to Remove!

Okay I'm not sure if this is right correct forum to post this but I have searched and searched and even looked in manuals and I cannot find the answer! On the top of my screen where I would normally have a notification for voicemail or text message...there is an icon of a globe (world...earth whatever you want to call it) with a 1 on the left side of it...can anyone help me with this probably simple question?! Thank you!

I have no messages that have been unchecked, in fact my BB is not even set up for email because I use Gmail and downloaded that program. I don't have any BB Messenger Requests...getting very frustrated right now!

Last time i seen this icon, i had tried to browse the web when i had no signal and it asked me to save the request. So open your message folder and then go to the Menu key and do Search and on the next window just do Search again and im sure you will find it

Thanks but that wasn't the issue either...I searched my entire folder for unopened messages of all types...nothing came up...so I'm back to square one. I don't see anywhere within the browser that I can search for saved messages? And I haven't ordered any ring tones at all!

How many messages do you have that are unopened?

Open the browser and check to see if you have any browser channels in the bookmarks list.

Pulling the battery may help too.

This happened to me the other day too, but it happened after I downgraded my OS. I checked to be sure all messages were read, then I pulled the battery. After the device powered on, the globe icon was gone.

Hope it works for you too!
