I got my Blackberry a few days ago. When I tried to log into my AOL instant messaging for the first time, it asked me to make several selections (I think they were either access or privacy controls) as I was trying to log in. When it was all completed, it would not connect. I assume I made a selection that stops the Blackberry from connecting. It just simply connects to about 20% with the yellow running man just running and running. Could someone let me know where to access those choices/specifications and what they should be.

Options, Advanced, Applications and the click or menu to EDIT PERMISSIONS. You'll need to enable or allow those settings you probably denied. You didn't mention settings you are speaking of.
