Default T-Mobile BB, Cingular Plan... Data Connection Refused.

Please Login to Remove!

I just got an unlocked T-Mobile 8100 BlackBerry and I'm using it on the Cingular network. I can use it as a cell phone just fine, but data does not work. My BB says "Data Connection Refused" even though I have added the BB Data Plan through Cingular a week ago. I also did the following:

- was with a Cingular Tech on the phone for 1 1/2 hours, who said to get a new sim card
- got a new sim card & it still says "Data Connection Refused"
- took the battery & sim card out numerous times and I still get that message

Is there anything else I can do as I am still unable to use the BB Data Service on my 8100?

Thank you.

It's not provisioned properly. Call Cingular again.

Just for giggles go to Options, Advanced Options, and Host Routing Table. If you see a list of T-Mobile USA followed by numbers, this is a problem on Cingular.
